TraknProtect Panic Button Systems

TraknProtect offers high-precision, affordable wireless panic button systems to hotels, motels, resorts, and other hospitality industry customers. Our technology combines radio frequency transmissions with ultrasonic transmissions to create a system that is reliable, dependable, and accurate.

  • Our battery-powered units are easy to install in each room in minutes and don’t require you to hire an electrician to rewire your building.
  • Low battery alerts help you to avoid cases where a user presses a button, thinking help is on the way, when in reality the battery in the transmitter is dead, and no help is responding.
  • Systems can be installed and your staff will be trained so that you know exactly how to configure it to your benefit.  Protect your hotel, your staff, and your reputation when you install the TraknProtect emergency panic button system.  Contact us today to get started

Protect Your Staff

Protect your staff from becoming victims before an incident occurs, rather than compensating them and handling bad publicity after a crime has already taken place.

Increase Morale, Decrease Turnover

Hotel staff feels safer and more secure. This reduces stress and increases employee morale and retention.

Maximum Compliance

You cover your bases against the accusation of negligence, at the same time complying with a city ordinance with stiff penalties.

Stay Ahead of the Curve

You go above and beyond what’s currently required, putting you ahead of the curve for when legislation kicks in.

Hotel and Casino Employee Safety Act

In August 2019 the State of Illinois passed the Hotel and Casino Employee Safety Act which provides new guidelines to help prevent sexual harassment of hospitality industry workers.  The law, which takes effect on July 1, 2020, requires hotel and casino management to:

  • Provide panic buttons to hotel and casino workers who have to enter guest rooms or restrooms alone, so they can summon help from hotel security and/or management if they feel threatened or their safety is being compromised
  • Develop and make public anti-sexual harassment policies
  • Prohibits hotel employers from retaliating against hotel workers who report sexual harassment
  • Provide all employees with a copy of the policy and post it in conspicuous places within the hotel

There was an average of 7,840 violent crimes per year in hotels or motels between 2004 and 2008, according to the Bureau of Justice Statistics. Legislation is being pushed in many states for greater protection against workplace violence for hotel staff. Hotel cleaning staff, maids, and maintenance people often have to work alone, thus exposing them to situations where they are vulnerable to sexual assault or other workplace violence, either from guests, fellow employees, or even domestic partners.

Our Process

As a systems integrator in the Midwest, MIS continues to provide technology-based solutions for Security, Access Control, Digital Video, Lobby Management, Infant Protection and much, much more. MIS has established a reputation for service and excellence. By following a step by step process we can ensure that each customer gets the very best solution that fits their unique needs.

  • Assessment

Whether you already know what you need, or if you would like expert assistance, MIS staff will work with you to identify the best possible solution.  As an integrator, we often save the customer time and money by using existing equipment that other companies replace and discard.

  • Expert Design

In the design phase, we work with you to design the best technologies appropriate for your individual needs. Our expertly trained staff will provide you with the materials needed to ensure the security system is designed to your satisfaction, prior to installation.

  • Installation

Prior to installation, our sales staff will introduce you to our project manager. Our project manager will schedule the installation and provide specifications for all products, drawings, and an estimated timeline of completion.  Our project manager will be available to answer any questions that may arise during the installation.

  • Training

Training is one of the most overlooked, yet critical aspects of any security system.  We believe that a well-trained customer is more likely to use their system more effectively and with much more enjoyment than having to constantly call for support.  We provide on-site training as well as training documentation for new employees or refresher courses. We want you to use your system to its maximum potential.
